Our association is comprised of members from all areas of the Quarter Horse industry.  IQHA serves as the Illinois AQHA affiliate association of the American Quarter Horse Association. 


All memberships are on a calendar year basis.  Memberships are available in the following types:


FAMILY -- $30.00 (Halter & Performance, Recreational riding)  This membership would be for families, partnerships, and corporations.  The family membership includes husband, wife & children 18 & under.    2011 membership drive would reduce the fee to $20 for new members (never been a member before).

SINGLE -- $25.00 (Halter & Performance or Recreational riding)  2011 membership drive would reduce the fee to $15 for new members (never been a member before.)

RACE -- $30.00 This membership would be for singles or families.

HALTER & RACE -- $45.00  This membership combines memberships in the race and halter and performance sections.

LIFE -- $200.00 for families --  $150.00 for singles (Halter & performance only)

Youth memberships -- Three types of youth memberships are available:   one year -- $20
                                                                                                                                                 three year -- $50
                                                                                                                                                    five year -- $75 
A youth must be a member of the youth organization:
 (a) in order for points to count towards year end awards (in the halter & performance categories)
 (b) in order to participate on a Youth World Show team or a Congress NYATT team

                                                

The owner of a horse must be an IQHA or IQHYA member in order for points to count towards year end awards.  If a youth is showing a horse owned by another family member, that family member must be a member in good standing for points to count. If an amateur is showing a horse owned by another family member, that family member must be a member in good standing for points to count.
